Adolescents usually have a distinct awareness of independence and individuality in their search to link-up with the adult world.

The individual personality develops, they are proud of their standards and values, which are not always accepted by society. Combined with a strong social feeling, this is sometimes the basis for lifelong friendships.

Venture Scouts are aware of the society we/they live in. So it is necessary to go along with the social aspects of society... 

Working method

The Venture Scout section elects a co-ordinator presiding at the general meetings in which projects are recommended and instructions are assigned. The person(s) who arrange(s) practical details, is/are also responsible for information and invitations to all Venture Scouts and has / have previously asked for advice and permission from the Moderator or Leader. This person is responsible for all activities, stimulates teamwork, has an eye for group dynamic relationships, eventually becomes aware of tensions and shortcomings, and helps to solve possible problems.

In combination with the motto: 'Be prepared', the Scout law is the only guideline. Living this law may become a game that can be played at home, at school or anywhere else.
